The Last Ferry is a one-screen point-and-click story set in a harbor shed on a remote Greek islet. The traveler has a ticket, the pier door is locked, and ferryman Otto would rather finish his coffee than help before the boat leaves.
Five objects can be inspected alongside Otto, Lena, and the exit. Inventory and dialogue conditions determine whether the door opens and which of three endings follows.
Clicking a hotspot walks the traveler across the shed before opening its interaction. Otto's first conversation begins with an order to sit down, followed by polite, practical, and hostile replies. The crumpled ferry ticket is already waiting in the inventory.
The clock, framed photograph, cold coffee, lighter, and locked door are not just decoration. Inspecting the room gives the dialogue context before the ten-minute premise turns every choice into a rush for the pier.
Arcweave built two versions of the same human-written story: one from a design document and one from the Arcweave project's JSON export. The company says GPT-Astra wrote the code, placeholder art, and sound for both, while every line read by the player remained human-written.
This Arcweave version also incorporates a renamed ferryman, a new exit condition, and Lena as a new character with a third ending. It is labeled a prototype, and its official browser build includes the room, inventory, movement, hotspots, and branching conversation described above.
The harbor shed opened with a ferry ticket in the inventory and hotspots on five objects, the locked door, Otto, and Lena. Clicking Otto walked the traveler across the room before offering three sharply different replies to his order to sit down.
