Oasis looks like a familiar block-based open world, but its underlying experiment is different. Decart says the experience is generated frame by frame by a transformer model. Keyboard and mouse input condition what appears next, so the AI is producing the visible world as the player interacts with it.

There is no conventional game engine maintaining every object in the usual way.
