Slide quilt squares into a reference pattern while Pickles the cat rearranges the work whenever attention turns away.
Playable here on GameWren. The game is served by the creator’s official host inside this page; GameWren does not rehost its files.
Each level presents a quilt grid with a few empty spaces and a separate reference sheet. Drag a square into an adjacent gap, then use the new opening to continue rearranging the pattern.
The first board accepted a horizontal slide immediately. Its reference asked for four complete rows with an empty final row, making the target readable even before the later layouts grow more complicated.
The reference sheet is useful, but opening it means looking away from the quilt. Pickles can move across the board and disturb the squares during that moment; after the first check, the cat shifted position and several tiles no longer matched their earlier arrangement.
Food and attention keep Pickles happy and reduce the risk of interference. The puzzle is therefore partly about remembering the pattern and partly about deciding when another look is worth giving the cat an opening.
The game contains 14 increasingly complex levels with hand-drawn illustrations and a live-recorded soundtrack. It was created for the Comfy Autumn Jam around the theme that things change when you look away.
Play is mouse-driven in a tall portrait frame. The large quilt squares and simple drag gesture make the opening approachable, while the moving cat supplies the disruption that separates it from a standard sliding puzzle.
The opening board accepted a horizontal tile slide, then Pickles shifted position and disturbed several squares after the reference pattern was checked.
