A mech cannot carry the salvage by itself

Niko Mech Scavenger alternates between a heavy combat machine and its operator. The mech breaks buildings, fires shoulder weapons, and crosses dangerous streets; the operator climbs out to lift fuel, batteries, and scrap by hand before loading them onto the machine.

The current free preview includes a prologue, three contract routes, shipboard preparation, and mech assembly. Its economy, story, progression, mobile performance, and later bunker missions are still in development.

The first field test starts with broken arms

After the intro, the first mission places the operator beside an immobile mech in a ruined district. Both arms are broken. The on-screen objective calls for clearing six bandits, entering the repair shop on the left, and carrying the recovered parts back before the machine can continue.

WASD moves the operator on desktop, and the on-foot weapon fires automatically. Inside the mech, hold and drag the mouse to aim, then release to fire. The browser build also supports touch controls and a portrait mobile layout.

Plan the return before loading up

Loot has physical weight, and the machine has a visible load. That makes the route back to extraction part of the decision: destroying a structure may expose supplies, but the operator still has to reach them, carry them, and survive the next wave.

The first download is about 123 MB. Fullscreen and sound are recommended, and the intro can be skipped while testing a new session. The game and its official page are in Traditional Chinese.

The first field test opened beside an immobile mech with both arms broken. Moving left brought the on-foot operator toward the repair shop while automatic fire reduced the opening bandit count to two of six.
