Fungaia

Pick mushrooms by hand, hire an automatic gathering crew, discover species and synergies, then reset the cave garden for permanent spore bonuses.

Fungaia

From one mushroom to an automatic garden

Fungaia starts with a single giant mushroom and a counter at zero. Each click adds one mushroom until the first Gnome Gatherer becomes affordable; buying it raises production to half a mushroom per second and begins the idle loop.

Later gatherers trade higher prices for faster production. Species add their own synergies, while buy-one, buy-ten, and maximum-purchase controls reduce repeated clicking as the numbers grow.

Zones, events, and the Tome of Fungi

The garden expands from the Damp Cave into the Waterfall, Old Mine, and Giant Roots. Rain showers, parasites, and a Mysterious Visitor interrupt passive growth with short events and decisions.

An unlockable Tome of Fungi contains forty real mushrooms. Spending spores adds sketches and notes about whether a species is edible or poisonous and how it tastes.

When to sporulate

Sporulation resets the current garden and awards spores for permanent bonuses. Wait until the next purchase has slowed to a crawl, then exchange the run for a stronger opening rather than guarding a stalled counter.

Version 0.9 saves automatically in the browser and continues making progress while it is closed. Clearing site data removes that local save.

Creator's description

Fifteen manual picks bought the first Gnome Gatherer. The counter then began adding half a mushroom per second, turning the opening click loop into its first automatic production line.
