Auto Dojo separates preparation from combat. The shop sells pixel fighters, and each purchase is dragged directly onto one of nine formation squares before the turn ends.
Position matters because the formation meets an opposing 3x3 grid rather than a single line. The bench adds another decision: a unit can stay out of combat and contribute a passive bonus instead.
After a short demonstration battle, Start returns to the beginning and highlights the Statue in the shop. Dragging it to the field spends coins, fills the selected square, and advances the tutorial to the next unit.
The clear step-by-step overlay is useful because the compact interface carries shop slots, currency, formation cells, and enemy information at the same time.
Selling a unit can yield a part that equips onto another fighter, letting a run preserve value while changing its roster. Shop rerolls and formation changes then prepare the next automatic battle.
A tournament ends in victory or defeat and sends the player back to rebuild. The browser version is available in English and Russian and lists an average session of about half an hour.
After the attract-mode tournament ended in defeat, the tutorial restarted at the shop and accepted a drag from the Statue card into the upper-left formation square before introducing the next unit.
